Canadian Artist Down Under

I’m blessed to have grown up in Northwestern Ontario and lived in Saskatchewan as an adult. My love of both the boreal forest, the rocky shores of Lake Superior and the endless sky of the prairies shows up in my choices of landscapes for my paintings.

And then I discovered Australia!

Koalas and kangaroos and emus and the most beautiful trees I’ve ever seen (sorry, Canada, but the Norfolk Island Pine that grew in a pot in my living room just can’t compare with the real thing growing along the foreshore!)

As a result, my painting subjects may seem a bit random, but they are all colourful, bright and full of joy.
