Materials:
watercolour paper, 300 gsm or better (that's 140 lb hot press in North America);
low tack (or painter's) tape; HB pencil and kneadable eraser;
cadmium yellow, cadmium red, cobalt blue, payne's grey (or black), burnt sienna. permanent white (gouache)

watercolour paper, 300 gsm (Australia) or 140 lb (Canada & US), size A4 (Australia) or 8.5" x 11" (Canada & US) hot press; HB pencil; gum/kneadable/art eraser; gamboge yellow, dioxazine violet, permanent rose. (Acceptable substitutes would be lemon yellow, alizarin crimson, purple lake). I did most of my work using only two brushes - a larger (2 cm long, 5mm wide) round brush & a smaller (1 cm, 2 mm wide) liner brush. (Since each manufacturer is different, the sizes #10 and #3 aren't very helpful)
